Due to all the previous Attachments disappearing in the Forum upgrade

The Attached zip is all the 94 Freeview Main Transmitter Tuning ini's for the UK as of 27th November 2019
This includes all the changes from 2017 to that date plus the 6 originals that have still to change in 2020 - there could be further changes as yet unpublished in 2020 - I'll keep checking!
I have also included a UK - All Regions post 700MHz Clearance ini which would scan a bit quicker than the All Country - All Regions ini.

If anyone is on a Freeview Light TX (less than 4 Mux's) and requires a Tuning ini post here - I have a Post Clearance Exel (Thanks for the help Graham) Generator for every UK Transmitter (All 1159 of them)

Sub - You could probably delete every United Kingdom DVD-T ini and replace them with this lot - as there are so many obsolete entries now.

It's not an overly complicated system - it's more - overly simple operatives  Huh

Who's Len?

I've just double checked the ones in my attachment above for Rowridge and unless Digital UK are wrong - it is correct.

In what way are they incorrect?

Your Central - Ridge Hill entry only lists 8 mux but there have been 9 since the switch over in 2011! The missing one is on Channel 29 538Mhz which carries ITV West.

North Gloucestershire has always been in the Midland/Central region but got poor coverage on local news. Around 2006 there was a reorganisation and we became part of the West region but Ridge Hill our local transmitter only broadcasts the Midlands local news. I complained to the BBC who said that to receive local news on "Points West" I would have to get either Cable TV or Freesat! ITV setup a mux for ITV West at Ridge Hill but BBC said they could not afford to fund joining ITV on the West mux!!

Chris

I see what happened there - Ridge Hill (West) was listed in the 700 clearance pdf as a separate transmitter with only one mux (reducing from 20Kw to 2 Kw) - so I had left it out as it had less than 4 muxes
Strangely it is not listed at all in the Ofcom post 700 clearance spread sheet. (Hope that is not bad news)

Updated ini attached. - Sub can you replace - thanks

If anyone else finds any missing frequencies or if you need a Freeview light ini let me know.

Digital UK who hosted the Postcode Coverage Check tool seem to have shut down and you are now diverted to Freeview who now host the tool. Entering my postcode and selecting Detailed View shows no change in reception conditions for the West mux between "Now" and "Final Prediction post 2020!

However I do wonder how much of the population use the West transmitter or are aware it exists as I expect most sets will find ITV Central first and dump ITV West in the 800 range of channel numbers!
