Hi,

Does anyone know how to run this on Catalina?

To clarify, I get an error with System.Private.Corelib.dll (unable to open as developer cannot be identified).

I hadn't tested it since updating to Catalina, but just have it a quick test now. I basically just followed the instructions in the 'Install Information' thread. ie, download the zip file, created an NPVR directory and unzipped the contents into that directory, then ran chmod to mark it executable, then ran ./NextPVRServer. After that I could open a browser and go to http://127.0.0.1:8866 to configure it.

For new apps on my Hackintosh I typically need to go into Finder and grant the permissions for the unknown developer.

OK, but it isn't working for me.

I followed the instructions exactly (bearing in mind I did have this running before).

It was anew download from a few minutes ago.

Making it executable was fine.

It did actually run but then immediately halted with the aforementioned error (see attached screenshot).  My only option is to <cancel> and close terminal.

[edit: typos and added attachment].

That's weird. I didn't encounter anything like that. (maybe because I have developer tools on my machine)

Googling it, I can see someone saying:

Quote:In the Finder on your Mac, locate the app you want to open.
Control-click the app icon, then choose Open from the shortcut menu.
Click Open.

The app is saved as an exception to your security settings, and you can open it in the future by double-clicking it or from cli, just as you can with any authorised app

Hi,

Sorry, when I wrote <cmd><open> above, I meant <ctl><open>.

NextPVRServer does run, it is System.Private.CoreLib.dll that is the problem.

Sorry, I'm not sure what to suggest at this stage. It's not something I'm able to reproduce, so hard for me to test solutions.
