QAM tuner - issue when local feed switches to national

For the second week in a row, I had an issue recording my school's football game.  The games' broadcasts started at noon and I did my usual two minutes buffer at the beginning.  In both cases, the two minutes of local content recorded and then it stopped recording as soon as the credits for the previous show ended.  It started recording again at 2:58 PM when the recording of the next show that I had scheduled started.  For sporting events I record the next show to make sure I don't miss the ending of the game.

Details for logs:  Started recording channel 505 at 11:58 AM.  Issue happens at 12:00 PM.  Recording of content resumes at 2:58 PM and continues until scheduled end at 3:02 PM.

Small.  Both, meaning last week & this week, are around 400 Meg when I would expect them to be more than 20 Gig.

The first two are channel 505.  The last one is channel 509.  All of these are ten Meg.  I can post bigger chunks if you want, or the whole files.  I can also create a guest ID in NEWA and you could download them directly from my NPVR server.

I thought you recorded the same channel so there isn't anything certain. The first file and second files are interesting in that the end of the original shows that it is in half way through the 4th quarter. If you could put the whole 400MB file one Drive or OneDrive that might help

It gives an error trying to play it, but you should be able to click Download.

In terms of the first & second files, I have it record "College Football" from 11:58 AM to 3:02 PM, with buffering.  I also have it record "College Football Scoreboard" from 2:58 PM to 4:02 PM or something on the same channel.  Because of Multi-Record, when the tuner starts to record the second show, it resumes recording the first show.

Basically at around packet 633215 there were no audio or video packets received, just PAT and PMT for most the file until they come back around 11000 seconds later. It looks like a delivery problem but I can't explain it any better. Do you have the HDHR software configured as default? Using NextPVR is not recommended.

I do have it configured as default.  As I put in the title of this thread, I think it is not handling something in the switch from the local feed before noon to the national feed at noon. 

Not that I think it will make  a difference, but I updated the firmware on the HDHR today.  I also moved tuner 0 to fourth priority in the Devices tab of NextPVR Settings.  Partly that was because I just setup my Roku to be able to access the HDHR, just to see if I could get it to work, and I don't want to be playing with it on the Roku when NPVR tries to record.

The fact that PAT PMT packets are being received with no av packets mean it is not NextPVR. Hopefully the firmware update will fix it
