Dutch EPG: xmltv_talpa (alpha)

The new Dutch channel Talpa is not supported yet by xmltv. This is because tvgids.nl hasn't got data of Talpa.
I wrote a little program that gets the guide-data straight from the Talpa-site. It's alpha, so probably pretty buggy; but you may want to give it a try.

Usage: Usage: xmltv.exe [-channelId talpa.nl] [-displayName Talpa] [-outputfile c:\xmltv\talpa.xml] [-days 6]

New in version 0.3:
- Fixed conversion of character è
- Fixed some fields that gave errors in xmltv

New in version 0.2:
- Added Commandline parameters to be able to specify the channelId, displayName, outputfile and number-of-days (max 6)
- Gets max 6 days of data
- Converts some unreadable HTML-codes to readable text.

Remco, you are the Man. Just some little bits. You removed the "&" code probably because I wrote somewhere it caused me problems. Well, it was because I used a tool I wrote to process your output, and made a programming mistake... Nevertheless, now that you use "&#038" that's fine too.

I saw that you use &#xxx and also \&#xxx codes. Does not cause me troubles, but I was wondering... I also noticed that next Wednesday Talpa will broadcast Big Trouble. Your XML code contains "Televisie première" instead of "Televisie première" or its representation in code &#232.

I also noticed that processing your output with SourceForge's XMLTV tools (especially tv_cat) gives some error messages. I can not yet pinpoint where the problem is, or there is a real problem.

Xmltv seems not to like empty fields like <sub-title lang="nl"></sub-title> and <desc lang="nl"></desc>. Empty fields are now excluded from the xml.

When I try to extract the ZIP file I get a message that the file is corrupted. Is there something wrong with the attachment?

There seem to be other people having trouble downloading files from the forum using IE6 see http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php?t=10319 for example.

But the use of the file you were downloading has become obsolete since tvgids.nl nowadays supports Talpa.

Thanx Zaragon, I see that TVGids.nl put Talpa on its own channel number, being 92 (Nickelodeon is on 89). I'll update my pages on http://www.prize.nl/software/pvr this weekend or early Monday.
