For most tuner types, the broadcaster chooses the quality settings, and NextPVR is just copying the stream (this is the same in all versions of NextPVR). The exception is old analog tuners, but these aren't supported in NextPVR v5. The web app does have some quality settings, since video needs to be transcoded to a format that can be viewed in a web browser. This is not relevant if you're using NextPVR.exe though, as shown in screenshot, since it can view the native format coming from the device, without needing a transcoded copy of the stream.

If you've had a fail, and changed it, but not sure what you set it to, you can reset it by editing the config.xml file to set: <Username>admin</Username> <Password>5f4dcc3b5aa765d61d8327deb882cf99</Password>

That error is consistent with a post I just made that NextPVR.exe doesn't support the Live significance.

I still cannot change quality settings in the web app, is there a way to passthrough or will i need to change the encoding settings on the config to a good bitrate/setting?
I added proper logs, mvallevand I cannot find your thread. Thanks in advance.

It is worth noting that Live TV content coming IPTV device type will ignore this streaming profile, and always just delivers a copy of the source content (since it's already in a format suitable for playback in a browser, and it's quicker to do this than force another transcode). All other device types will transcode for playback in the browser.

Those HDPVR setting are in the config.xml I just don't know if sub has activated them for Windows. Yes sorry for the confusion I posted a private forum message to sub. Martin

You could see if these updated files fix it. Otherwise, there should be a release this weekend that fixes it.
