I'm havin' a bad day it seems. I've been trying to get KNEWC to connect with the V5 PC server. A pin error was suggested so I went to the web app and changed it. Then I changed it in the RPi4. No luck. So, using the web app again, I enabled the web server in Settings and now I the web app does not ask for a login and shows no information at all!

But everything is just fine if I open http://<ip>:8867 on another machine! Pops right up and asks for the login credentials.

I attached the logs. The desktop app works perfectly as far as live TV goes so I believe the DB is OK. Will you need the config file?

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

Manually change any of your config.xml values to these if they differ (other than case)

<Username>admin</Username>
<Password>5f4dcc3b5aa765d61d8327deb882cf99</Password>
<PinMD5>4A7D1ED414474E4033AC29CCB8653D9B</PinMD5>

Then turn off auto password in the browser.

Nailed it in 1, Martin. Config file was OK but the Chrome browser was the problem. Autofill was turned off for passwords but the localhost:8867 site was listed in the Never Saved section. I deleted the site from that section and voila! It's all good.

Many thanks.

Although I am glad it is working it is not clear how this helped. It makes no sense as it applies to any RPi PIN issue unless you weren't using the using the defaults. I also think "never save" is a better choice for logins as a general rule.

You may be confusing my RPi4 problems with this thread. Smile This thread refers to the web app on my PC windows server. I don't know if this helps but there it is.

Post #1 started with the problem revealing itself by trying the RPi4 but lead to the web app problem on the PC server. I probably was unclear...as usual.

But you said it was revolved, so I am still confused.
