That's good thanks for reporting and confirming this. I fought for a while because my Android tablet just wouldn't update to 3.3.17 but I finally was able to install it manually to confirm from my end too about an hour ago. I have submitted a patch which has been building for a while and if it is successful, I will ask sub to submit a PR for Kodi soon.

As a test I re-enabled extended time shift. And it crashed live tv again.

Yes I expect it will until the update is available. It isn't really a crash, since the server is telling the client to stop and the client does stop.

Yes I agree. I was looking for the right words to describe live tv stopping. I chose crash knowing it wasn’t really crashing. But I want to thank you for all your help. Absolutely love NextPvr. Been using it exclusively for over a year now. Thank you.

Ok I tested a patch to version 3.3.18 and it seems to be working as expected. If you are comfortable installing from a zip file the update is available now, hopefully it will be available for widespread distribution soon.
