You are probably confusing Schedules Direct and TMS which is the actual source.

Nope Emby Guide EPG not coming from Schedules Direct bear in min they lost SD support that option is no longer available and with WinTV Plug-in and or by M3U with NextPVR with no Emby NPVR Plug-in it coming from the build in Emby EPG. Schedules Direct is used only under NextPVR and SageTV only I even have setup a system to pull the EPG from Antenna with SageTV, NextPVR and SichboPVR

I know it is not SD and never said it was. They get it from Gracenote TMS just like SD does
