Recording options when 'Record' in Live mode.

That would be cool to have an options menu come up when you hit record when in live mode instead of it just recording.

IE-Right now it just starts recording. Instead, a window choice would come up, "Record now, Record til end of program". So when you want to record something your watching but need to exit out if your need to do something else, your not stuck with nothing recorded by having to exit out, go into the guide, and select Record show, like you do now.

Hi, It's been only a month I discovered GB PVR and from the first days I started using it I concluded that recording function is not practical, especially for me who doesn't receive EPG or something alike.
For ex: I watch something and I want to record the rest of it because I have to go out or go to sleep or whatever, there is now way to program when the recording should stop.
All video or DVD recorders have the repeating press of the record button to delay the recording for the next 30,60,90 min and I used it a lot. You have to remember that not everybody has the luck of having program guides.
My particular problem is that I have a sattelite receiver hooked to the line in of my 250 PVR USB2 and for the GB PVR its only one program - the line in.
Otherwise the skins need improving - its the sadest PVR soft I ever tried.

Thanks, but I didn't mean to offend...You have the best motor, only one who gives live preview from Hauppauge PVR, the best and the smoothest picture, I just hope you will get more support. Looks of media portal with your engine would be something...(and some functionality from Showshifter).

Yes, please! I'm tired of looking at my own creations.
If someone were to make a good (not cluttered) main page, with the menu structure not hiding the background, and have it look great at 1080i... (maybe this post should be in the wishlist forum ...oh, wait.....nm)
