I've gotten it to work 80% successfully with my motorolla digital cable box, but for some reason it will not enter the number 1. So i can go to any channel without the number 1 fine, eg. channel 2-9 33, 49 but when i go to 13 it only enters the 3. Anyone have this problem

You might need to tweak the repeat count and delay settings.

Also check the definition file itself. I had a case when I taught GBPVR the codes for my set-top box, using USB-UIRT, and it failed to enter the "1" (coincidental - on a second teaching attempt, the "3" was not working). I noticed that the file had many long lines, and the "1" line in the first attempt and the "3" line in the second attempt were much shorter and obviously different.

got it for whatever reason it wasn't learning my channel 1, so I used a program called IRsetup and copied the results from that to my profile and it now sees channel 12 13 134. Thanks for the help
