I have now spent many hours producing test recordings using version 5 and I feel that I going insane !!
I have two capture cards in my PC and Hauppauge DVB-S and TBS DVB-T.
Freesat recordings made using the DVB-S card last approximately 3 minutes .
When viewed in VRD the file size is small but the quality looks ok.
Freeview recordings from BBC appear to complete but Windows file manager indicates that a 1 hour program has a duration of 3.30 hours (VRD program statistics also show 3.30 hours ) .
The real crazy thing is that when they are played back using VRD it appears to always includes a QVC advert for a Dyson cleaner at the end of the file !! (only a short section of the file can be played). When played back using VLC distortions and pixellated plus the QVC advert at the end of the file.
Please note that QVC has not been saved as a channel.
Perhaps two files are being merged at the end of the recording process corrupting the file .
Version 4 with Video Redo still works ok.
Please help.
Thanks
Maurice
