OK, I will do some test to make it work on PC. Maybe it will be more easy for Me. I'm gonna try v4 too if it's the same issues.

V4 is going nowhere you should just wait for sub's reply.

OK, thank you very much for your help.

Maybe, I should post it in v5 general support? It's the same result with Windows.

sub will get to you, don't worry. If it is critical like I said adding it is trivial as an extras in linux or windows.

Unfortunately this is a very complicated type of stream, where both the audio and the video are carried separately in multiple different formats, and NextPVR can't currently handle it. I was aware of the existence of this type of m3u8 stream, but they're rare and I hadn't come across one myself yet.
Using your url as an example, I've modified NextPVR to identify this type of stream, and not try handling this directly. Instead it'll fall back to using ffmpeg when it sees a stream like this. This does work, but its much slower to start.

You could try replacing your nshared.dll with this one, and let me know if it helps.
If it doesn't work, post your logs and I'll check what happened.

It sounds like a Kodi issue if it's unable to play the stream that is playing fine in VLC. hi, can I understand... does NextPVR v5 server (on ubuntu) play an M3U stream and pass the audio and video to a client or does it pass the link for the client to play directly? (thinking specifically of Emby App). It matters as I have my server on a VPN secured machine but my clients are not specifically secured... Thanks |
