Is avoid transcoding wherever possible flag working?

Hello, 

I just checked whether with streaming profile and the chckbox "Avoid transcoding wherever possible" checked transcoding would, in fact happen or not, and it seems to be happening...

From my local client web browser I would like to avoid transcoding and instead show the original stream, just as Kodi does.

Any ideas how to accomplish that?

Yes, it's working. The key words here are "where possible".

Web browsers can play very few types of content. Everything else needs to be transcoded. Pretty much the only time you're going to be able avoid transcoding for playback in the web app is if you're using IPTV channels (since they're already in a format a browser can play), or for some "Extras" devices (which are using H264 video + AAC audio).
