I've now fixed this issue for the next release.

Yes, that is correct.

Quote:Is there a difference between HDHR and DVBT type?
DVBT uses the SiliconDust BDA drivers. HDHR uses the SiliconDust http interface. The BDA drivers do allow for multiple channels on the same frequency. The HDHR device type is cross platform, so available on Linux, Mac, Windows. The BDA drivers are Windows only.

Hi again just tested the new update:
They work in the nextpvr tvguide page
They don't work in the channels tab (they appear as & )
They also don't work in the kodi addon (see picture)

I can manually edit the channel names and put in & ' etc and they appear correctly on all devices I use.

Regards

Can you please confirm - so the fix worked for the ampersand (&) but not for the apostrophe (')?

I might need to see the logs after an attempted scan.

Hi they both work in the nextpvr guide tab.
They both don't work in the nextpvr channels tab.
They also don't work in the kodi plugin.
In kodi & and ' etc show instead (you can see this in channel 1 and 7 in the pic above)

I can run a scan tomorrow morning if needed

Regards

In the Settings->Channels screen, do they have the correct names?

Ok, I'll probably need to see the logs from a scan.

Does this patch help? It's complicated, with these strings passing through several modules, and I'm not 100% sure this is the right place.
