EPG is loosing Data over night

Hello,

i am having the problem, that the EPG is lost over night.

Yesterday i did an upgrade to the newest version -> I Empty EPG -> I did a full EPG Update.

Now after waking up this morning a lot of channels do not have any data anymore. The channels had EPG for 7-14 Days yesterday.

So it can not be, that only the update did not work, the existing data has been lost.

If you hit 'empty epg' followed by 'update epg', does it result in a full EPG?

In theory, the overnight EPG update runs exactly the same code as when you hit 'update epg'.

OK, i will try, and answer here. It will take perhaps a few days. In the past the error was not every day, but often. I will check it tomorrow, and so on, and i will report.

I think you just got lucky when you tried it manually, and the broadcast EPG data just happened to be a bit different when it tried update overnight.

It relates to a show that had the genre 'black & white', and it wasn't correctly escaping the ampersand character.

OK. I just exchanged the dll -> did a complete reboot -> Empty EPG -> Running full update.

So there is a known state.

If you will find a why to disable going into standby while a record is running....... Even more better!!! :-)

It relates to a show that had the genre 'black & white', and it wasn't correctly escaping the ampersand character.

These are also technically what I think are a mistake in the backend mapping which I explained but now you see an example.  Shows that are "Specials" get tagged with "Special characteristics" with the b&w flag but in my experience I haven't found any that were really b&w.

NextPVR Server should not be going into standby while it is recording.  Does it go to sleep in the middle of a recording or immediately prior to a recording?  Please post logs telling us the time of a recording that was affected so that we know where to look in the logs.  Thanks.
