NPVR 5.0 and Kodi 18.0 : Unable to record

Hi everyone !

I was using successfully NPVR4.3 and I decide to intall v5.03 ( Version: 5.0.3.200415 )
Everything works fine except recording from Kodi 18.0

Had a look to Kodi's  og and it seems Npvr is not able to process parameters sent from Kodi ?

Channel launch is ok :

01:52:24.994 T:6764  NOTICE: AddOnLog: NextPVR PVR Client: Calling Open(http://127.0.0.1:8866/live?channeloid=71...dfba467e41) on tsb!

But when I start recording while I watch tv :

01:52:33.256 T:7500  ERROR: AddOnLog: NextPVR PVR Client: DoRequest failed, response=<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8" ?>

</rsp>

Does it means that record features while watching channel is not yet implemented on this version ? Or do I have to upgrade to last Kodi version ?
By the way, Npvr plugin ion Kodi side is up todate

I noticed this feature is anot available from Npvr web app.

It means you didn't post your full logs. That was a live tv URL nothing to do with recording.

Yes, you can normally record while watching live tv. You'll need to post those logs though, so we can check why it didn't work in this case.

Thanks a lot for your replies. A reboot of my pc solved the problem 

I'm french and I noticed some errors with prominent characters. I was not able to launch channels containing some of them. I changed the channel name and it works like a charm ! Also same kind of problem with recording and timeshifting directories names : work perfect whenI removed it.

But now I'm facing with another problem : PC is running for hours.  I just  launch live TV in Kodi and channel doesn't start even when I directly use webapp. . 
I join the complete zipped log. Error occurs at :

Did the channel work in NextPVR itself? or did this affect both kodi and nextpvr?

What was an example problem channel name?

This affects both Kodi and nextPVR

For exemple, I had the issue with channel "France Ô"
And my recording and timeshift folder was : "TV enregistrée"

I’ll try renaming one of my channels to test it.

What type of device is you tv coming from? Or is it iptv?
