Recording garbled and skips

Wondering if I am missing any codecs etc. Hope you can help.
I recorded couple of live streams the other day. Each of the recording runs without issues for couple of minutes and then shows a garbled screen, then the recording rewinds and forwards in a quick succession or slows down with garbled audio.. then corrects itself and after a few minutes the same.
there is no problem with the live stream though, but happens every time I record.
is this something you have encountered and had corrected? thanks

That's quite typical with a bad signal on OTA.

thanks. I tested with both HBO and Showtime. Both these channels are perfect when I see live, but upon recording after a few minutes the recorded items shows this issue.

is there something I can provide to troubleshoot. If you can help me where these logs are located.

Could you try in the web app after the version upgrade. There does look like a NextPVR buffer issue.
