Is there any way to edit an IPTV channel address?
It displays: http://address/username/password/channel-number
I'd like to edit the channel-number only.

The "Edit Channel Details" doesn't seem to display the http:// string.

Thanks
Steve

It sounds like your m3u file is wrong. Where are you seeing this?

There is no built in way to do this. You'd only be able to edit it by editing the database.

I'm having issues managing the IPTV m3u file that contains 7000+ channels. I have a script that pulls 25 or so channels out of the master file, but provider seems to change the channel number too often.
If I delete the whole list and reload, I need to add the SD guide info again or edit the small list and select the channel that changed.
So the database may be the quickest for me.

If you were getting all the channels, or at least a whole group (like 'USA Channels'), then the 'Update M3U' button probably would have done the job, but since you're using a subset, it'll cause the rest to be pulled in.

If those channels are all within a specific group, you could maybe pull in the whole group, and just use NextPVR channel group, to define which ones you're viewing. This would allow you to use the Update M3U feature.

I think this is why some users use xteve to normalize their lists before they get to NextPVR.
