I think you had already answered the question without logs, if you see the files with higher strength being the better recordings.

I do see driver errors too starting here

So the tuner is screwed and you need to reboot the PC.

Thanks Martin. When you say the Tuner is screwed, what do you mean, physically or is it the driver for theat tuner which is screwed ?
What will rebooting do ?, ta and i could put in a reboot scheduled item in the pc to reboot everyday. But more concerned about what a screwed driver means. Maybe using the wrong one.

Right now it is not working, it could be a temporary driver issue. Rebooting will clean up the driver internals.

I am not sure if your signal issues are related I doubt it.

ok reinstalled the corret drivers on the pc but i wouldn't have a clue if the filter picks it up as it just gives the tuner a generic name, same as before.
