Can't install and recording not working when I do install

OK, That makes no sense - let me explain

Installer fails on installing files so I downloaded the zip file and manually extracted, removed V4 and all seemed well until I noticed that my capture card was showing as unavailable.

I ran the vc redist as I saw recommended in another thread for both 64 and 32 bit just in case but no different.

I'm thinking this is a dot net thing, but not sure.

Win server 2016 in case it matters

The installer had already been updated to take care of this, so the vc runtime no longer needs to be manually installed.

This situation wasn't being handled, but I've just updated the installer now, to prompt the user if they'll need to install .NET runtime, and take them to it's download page.

In future, I intend to install of this component automatically if required, but that'll help for now.
