Unable to Search for Channels, Unable to load SD Guide

Hey,
Moderate newbie here, attempting to load NextPVR on my linux mint box.

I have an ATSC card, and it shows up in the Devices, but when clicking on the Scan buttons, there's nothing happening, and nothing in the drop down.

When attempting to load the Guide from SD, which has selected to correct lineup, nothing is loaded.
Can someone help a bit?

What linux version/distro are you using? Also did you run the apt install step first to load the dependencies?

And probably not.... I installed from the deb, but I did manage to use SUDO to do it....

Can you point me to an instruction sheet on the install for the dependencies?

I already had that. The gDebi package installer reported same version already installed.

Yes you need to remove it and then install with apt again as shown in that link

Well we did something. Its scanning now.
