I put your last NscriptHelper.dll in place. 
re-import the file I wanted to see i n the recording list.
move down the Ts file in a directory test. then :
C:\Users\Public\Videos\REC>dotnet "C:\PROGRA~1\NextPVR\NScriptHelper.dll" -Rename "C:\Users\Public\Videos\REC\test.ts" "C:\Users\Public\Videos\REC\test\test.ts"

No error message, then checking back in NextPVR, no more recoring in the list. like it -Rename did not take it

Some progress at least. I can see the request making it to the server.

Are sure you also have that NShared.dll I posted yesterday? The log messages look like you don't

Yay ... There are now messages in nrecord.log ... messages to stdout and stderr are for wimps so we don't care about them ...

For the most part, NScriptHelper doesn't spit messages out to stdout, since a lot of the calls are meant to output json and need to ensure there is not extra messages there.

with latest dll same than Graham, it does the job, no message at all in logs. But I am fine as it does what I expected.
