Just tried the following URL with VLC from a machine on the same LAN as the server:

(Quotes are needed for this post otherwise what's posted is: http://192.168.1.154:8867/service?method...vorites-hd. I don't know why.)

No response. This is supposed to work, right? If the group_id is not used, the full channel list is sent and playback begins, no problem.

Logs attached. Attempt should appear towards the end.

Did you click view source if you are testing in the browser?

I just double checked here, and group_id is working. For example, this:
http://localhost:8866/service?method=cha...Mediaworks

returns just the mediaworks channels.

If you want to supply your npvr.db3, I'm happy to check it with your groups.

Make sure it's capitalized the same way as your group name etc. If it's different, you'll get an empty m3u back.

So it should be http://192.168.1.154:8867/service?method...vorites-HD

{"groups": ["All Channels", "Favorites-HD", "HD-PVR2", "Premiums"]}

@Martin...Not using the browser. But if I was, what does view source buy me?

@sub...I think I tried a case-sensitive id but but I'll check again. Logs revealed nothing?

Thanks.

The logs look like you used the wrong case. I'm happy to try your database here if you like though.

I'm 99% sure you passing a group_id that doesn't exactly match the name in the database.

I gave you the answer on the case above.

View source might be required on a browser you might have seen  the empty #EXTM3U text that was being sent.

OK. Got it working by using the correct case and adding &host_callback=ip:8867

Thanks for the help.
