You need to check the system log for sleep events not the application log.

It is waking up and doing the recording

but the spurious resume (without a sleep) is causing a problem not sure where it coming from but a recent fix sub put in is being over protective.

See if turning off or extending the hidden Windows unattended sleep mode option makes a difference.

Thank you for the feedback.

I did what you suggested, found events 1 and 42, and I see none at the times of the issues, assuming I found the right section and the right events.

Screen turns off at 10 minutes (but it's not normally on when recording starts).  PC turns off after 30 minutes, so if recording is dying within less than that of awakening, it's not relevant, right?

Never heard of that. Enabled it in menu. It was set for 2 minutes. I changed it to 35.

There was some changes I made a week or so ago, related to the resume/sleep handling, which should help. I'm hoping to get this new release out in the next couple days.

Is the 7/25 release, same day as this post, that release?

Sub took out the restart of the tuners on resume (which you tell us wasn't happening, but the logs show otherwise) in the last release.

I don't pay attention to every release and when they come out. Perhaps he had a release slated to launch on 7/25, then started working on some fixes, and plans on launching that in a few days, as he stated, versus saying a few days and doing it the same day...
