Hello,

Was wondering if it is possible to add an IPTV m3u list and have it start after the last current channel number? I.E. Current last channel number is 113. New list to start at channel 114? I want to enter a new m3u list and do not want it to fill up any current unused Channel numbers.

Thank you,
Mark

That is the default behaviour unless your list is hard-coded to use a sprecific channel number with the tvg-chno="" tag.

Was afraid of that. Would be nice if this behavior was user selectable.

Thanks,

Is ... "that" ... ambiguous?   I suspect that Martin is saying that NextPVR starts numbering after the highest channel number that is currently in use except when tvg-chno is in the m3u.

Maybe I misunderstood what he was saying.

Currently If I add another m3u file to a channel setup I already have, the new channels will fill up any unused channel numbers from 1 on. Is that the default behavior because that is not what I was after? I want the newly added iptv channels to reside after the last channel number used in the established setup.

Thanks,
Mark

Did you check if tvg-chno was in the m3u file?

Yes the m3u has tvg-chno filled out, starting at 1. Trying to figure out how to change them en masse.

Thanks,
Mark
