Problem with scanning SAT channels

Hello sub,

i installed NPVR for a friend. He uses SAT.

There is strange behavior when we do a channel scan. The frequencies are scanned. (i edited the list time ago, and you integrated it - Astra 19.2).

The list is correct, i can see that when a frequencies is scanned, the correct number of channels is found. But after the scan has finished a lot of channels are missing. It is not a problem with the selection of free and encrypted channels, they are just missing. It also happens that some station of a frequency are found, and some are missing.

I think this is a bug. The reception perfekt, so no critical signal.

I tried to edit the list, leaving only one (or two or three) frequencys, save it under a new name, with new description, did a scan of that "satellite" -> channels found and added.

But its hard to do this with a lot of transponders.

I think about two possible problems:

- The scan is to fast, so that the channels are not registered to the database (the number of channels is correct if i check during the scan, so they are scanned, but missing afterwards).
- There is perhaps a general problem in the process while scanning the satellite (creating the list, or something like that).

Would be great if you can look into that.

Do the channels not even end up in the popup that is shown while scanning? (ie, shown at the end of scanning vs what gets saved)

Hello sub,

as far as i can see, the channels are "seen" during the scan. For example:

Transponder "22=11053,H,22000,23,S2,8PSK" is scanned. The scan then jumps to the next transponder "23=11068,V,22000,56,DVB-S,QPSK" i can see that 5 channels have be added during this jump. Thats the number of channels on "22=11053,H,22000,23,S2,8PSK". But after the scan has finished, in the summery screen, where i can scroll through the channels, and the non encrypted are already preselected, the channels are already missing, and of course they are also missing after saving.

If i then do a scan only on this transponder (separate SAT list), the channels are found and can be added.

On another transponder only some channels show up, and others are missing.

There is a lot going in those previous logs, and I can't see where it's scanning where Transponder "22=11053,H,22000,23,S2,8PSK" is being scanned. Can you restart NextPVR, then do a scan, then repost a the new set of logs, so the scan is the most recent event shown?

I will try to do this, as soon as possible. Because it is not my system, its not so easy.

I did a backup of the db, deleted the logs. Deleted the db, and then started "fresh".

This time one station was added from 11053, the others are missing. Also other stations are missing.

I hope you can find something in the logs.

And i also updated to the newest version. 5.0.8.xxx

I did have a theory it might have been some sort of clash with another channel found on the scan (same sid+onit+tsid), but that doesn't seem to be the case.
