There is a problem with the app on Nvidia Shield: after selecting a program to record from the guide, it is not possible to navigate to either of the two "Record" options.
FYI, I am still looking at this. I spent quite a few hours on it yesterday, but haven't found a fix yet - it doesn't have this issue with earlier versions of Android TV.
Is there any way to sideload the last fully working version of the Android app so that we can regain the critical functionality that was impacted in the update?
Any progress on this or any guidance on how to rollback to a previous version? I'm testing PVR Live as an alternate solution but I prefer the NextPVR interface and functionality.
If it's any help: i connected a logitech wireless keyboard to my nvidia shield and was able to activate the NPVR buttons (Watch, Record, etc) that are not accessible via the remote control (but this isn't a solution that is practical for me)
It will be resolved. Sorry it's taking a while. I'm stretched pretty thin.
Basically Google broke it in the recent Android TV versions, and the focus is refusing to go any of the buttons. I've tried a few things to fix it, but have only found a really ugly way to make it work, so I'm hoping to find an alternative.
