This should be easy but for some reason it's not working for me.
I've configured the router to open up ports 5800 and 5900, pointing them to my HTPC's statis IP address inside the LAN. I configured this the same way I've already configured gbpvr's web admin to be visible from outside my lan, as well as my ftp server, but I can't connect from work.
Is there another port that needs to be opened that I'm unaware of, like for control? Alternatively, I suppose my work lan could be blocking those ports from leaving our network, but if they are, is there anyway I can figure that out? Tracert doesn't let you check a port, and I have no problem connecting to my ftp server or gbpvr's web interface.
