onboard TV out & PVR IN

before trying and blowing things up, does anyone sees a problem with:

Connecting the pundit TVOUT + stereo out to the PVR composite in ?

I expect to be able to "see" the desktop this way. Am I wrong?
Did anyone tried this before ? If it works, one could use only the PVR tvout, and software swtiching input. This way, the development of new features could be easier?

Or am I still dreaming ?

I've done this before to try it out. You have to be recording to see the desktop.

Its not really going to work sorry. Well...it wont really be useable anyway.

GB-PVR will also show you the desktop on your PVR350 tv out if you configure a custom task. For as long as that program is running, it will show you snapshots of the desktop every 250ms. It wouldn't be useable for running multimeda stuff, but may be useful for people who need to do small administrative tasks etc.
