Hi.
Lately I installed a fresh version of Windows 10 (20h2) on my TV Server system. I've installed most recent version of NextPVR5 server. In general I have 8 DVB-S2 tuner available. One DigitalDevices CineS2 V6.5 with 2 tuner and one DVBSKy S952 with 2 tuner PCIe cards build into the system. Aside this I have a Triax TSS400 SAT>IP router with 4 Tuner. All 8 tuner are feed from an unicable switch for 8 tuner. Every tuner has it's own frequency slot.

The channel scan in the web GUI shows all needed channels, DVB-S and DVB-S2 ones. Last night I've done a bunch of test recordings from various channels. All recordings from DVB-S channels have worked as expected but all recordings from DVB-S2 (aka HD) channels are only zero bytes "big". It also is not possible to view HD channels "Live" SD Channels are working "Live" too...

With other TV solutions like e.g. MediaPortal the hardware is working as expected. But in MediaPortal you need to tick a mark for allowing DVB-S2 channel scan. I didn't find similar in NPVR. Did I miss something?

I'm not at home now so if something else like logs (or so) are needed I have to add them later...

Please attach logs showing a channel scan and the recording of a show on a failing channel ... Thanks ... https://github.com/sub3/NextPVR/wiki/get-help

Hi.
Thanks for having a look. Now I'm back. Logs are attached.

I had a look into the log files myself and saw a lot of buffer overflow exceptions. But I have no clue where this came from...

The device-Digital Devices DVB-S2 Tuner 1-1.log has ...

I don't know why the second "LockChannel" at 12:15:00.643 appears to have failed ... I expect that someone who can help will be here soon.

Can you delete the channels, restart NextPVR (to reset the logs), do a scan on one tuner. Do not update the EPG. Next, try watching one of these DVB-S2 channels that doesn't work. Then post the logs. I'm hoping these logs will show me both the scan, and the later attempt to watch the channel. Both scenarios use the same tuning, and in theory if it can find the channel at scan time, it should also be able to watch it (unless it's encrypted).

Hi.
I've done as requested. The fresh channel scan finds the DVb-S2 channels but I can't play/show them. Not in Web-GUI and also not in Kodi... Logs are attached...
Many Thanks.
