Having issues with the recordings.  It seems the Ts file doesnt add the end / finsihed point into the file when the show is done.
When i load the file it starts playing find, but the duration of the file says 24+ hours.
If i watch without hitting any buttons, it is ok, but as soon as i try to forward past commercials, or start in the middle, nextpvr wont play it anymore.
If i try to skip ahead, it bounces it back to the same spot with every press of the button.

Ive tried playing the file within Media player and kodi, both with the same result.

any thoughts?
Thanks

My thoughts, where are the logs? For Kodi I'd like to see the Kodi debug logs.

Perhaps also zip one the xml file from one of the recordings that NextPVR creates.

Will record another episode tonight, and zip up all the logs.

There is no special start and end points which NextPVR adds into the files.

Unlike other video formats, in transport stream files each audio/video packet has it's own timing information included, and there is no special header at the beginning/end to say how long the file is, or index for where to find specific times. Your recording is just a dump of whatever the broadcaster sent. Sometimes they might slice in different content, which can cause the clock to change etc. This can trip up some players.

From a Kodi view PVR recording lengths do respect the duration that NextPVR provides which is why I want to see the xml file.
