I just looked in NPVR-data folder and opened the config.xml file. The was no 'OSDMouseControls' so I added it and everything is now fine. I had been using the config file in the NPVR Folder.
Should I actually have an NPVR folder AND an NPVR-data folder in v5?

Only if your have both NextPVR v4 and NextPVR v5 installed

You can uninstall v4 if you still have it installed.

If have uninstalled v4, it leaves the user data behind. You can delete the NPVR folder to get rid of it.

No, it's mentioned in lots of places, that v5 was not an inplace upgrade of v4. It's effectively a new application. It uses different directories, different technologies, and different installer. You can manually uninstall v4 now since you're no longer using it.
