kodi/knewc crashing

Kodi/knewc crashing on server (local client).  We tried to start playback of an NFL game recording in progress from knewc Video library, the recording was about 90 minutes in or so, and we were left on with the desktop on the screen.

Logs attached.  I had debug logging on in Kodi, the log file is a monster.

Hmmm, the Kodi crash log showed it was attached, but not showing on post above.  Perhaps it didn't like the 9.3MB attachment.  Try #2....

Yeah 9.3MB is too big.  Here's the last 20 minutes or so of the log file.

Nothing useful there. Perhaps the full Kodi crash dmp zipped on cloud storage might help, but I doubt it. Maybe dmesg too.

I suspect it is because NextPVR was telling Kodi to play an empty file so not worth spending too much time on it

That tuner failed yesterday or earlier so you missed several recordings.

The file isn't empty. The recording worked, but it seems like we did miss the first few minutes.

Still need to find time to test the tuner failure issue.

Ah ok It failed over to your hdhr. I see you use the interface through video library that is very uncommon. There is a stop on the server and it looks like NextPVR got into a crazy stop loop that Brett reported.

Same crash symptoms.  We were watching an old recording of "Casino Royale" on the knewc/kodi local client on the server, my wife got tired and went up to bed and started using the RPi4 with knewc/kodi in our bedroom.  Playback on the local client stopped w/o any input at some point when she was using the RPi4 upstairs, I think she had just started playback of a recording.  I tried to re-start Casino Royale on the local client and knewc/kodi crashed.

May also be worth mentioning I upgraded NextPVR to v5.09.201216 earlier today.

The problem is known we need sub to fix the server so no logs needed
