Channels Missing on Digital Devices DVB-C Tuner ...

After Sub implemented the support for CI/CAM-Module - many thanks for this, a lot of TV-Moasic users will be quite happy - I prepared a channel frequency/transponder list for Unitymedia/Vodafone Cable Spectrum for Germany-Northrhine-Westfalia.

The scan is showing up 329 channels.

Even so, there are channels missing, also the frequencies are covered by the channel-frequency list. What is the reason, that the scan does not find the channels?

Maybe, somebody can help ....

Yes, I'm missing the channels showing in the second picture.

I'm wondering, because the frequencies are contained in the ini-File ....

Sky Bundesliga 6HD - 378000:133:4:307
Sky Bundesliga 7HD - 362000:133:3:317
Sky Bundesliga 8HD - 362000:133:2:327
Sky Bundesliga 9HD - 378000:133:4:337
...

There are also other stations which are not recognized in the scan, even the frequencies are listed in the ini-File.

Is the "6900,QAM256,8" bit of the tuning is correct? Cable systems can be a bit hit or miss, mixing in QAM128 etc.

I think sub has it. If you look at https://git.linuxtv.org/dtv-scan-tables.git/tree/dvb-c for unitymedia there is a mix and those channels are QAM64

I tried it, but without sucsess ... I found a VDR-config file for my area and the missing channels are QAM256 ...

Can you try the eval version of TSCapture from https://tscapture.com, and let me know if it finds 'Sky Sport Bundesliga 8 HD'? You will probably need to disable CI in the device settings to be able to scan.

I installed TS-Capture. But it's not possible to scan ... get an error message: "Unable to start device: Device failed to start"

I tried it for DD#3 & DD#4. CI disabled in DD-Driver .....

Do any of your other applications that work with this device, allow you to capture a full transport stream? If so, I might get you to capture a minute from one of these frequencies, so I can try it here with my signal generator.
