Great to hear the fix worked and she didn't hear background audio. With the 2.9.1 fix, it probably isn't as bad, just harder to use other clients that do require a stop.

It happens randomly during playback, usually when no input (remote or keyboard) has be sent to the client.

baj1, maybe give these updates a go. They included several changes around the UI client stuff.

@baj1 for manual update on linux just sudo unzip them over the existing files in /opt/nextpvr/system and then restart the service, no need to stop the server like on Windows before the upgrade.

Stupid question, by restart the service, do you mean: $ sudo service nextpvr-server restart Will this interrupt recordings in-progress? I suspect the above will, but thought I'd ask. Thanks and Happy New Year! -Brad

Yes that is the restart command and yes it will stop recordings and connected clients.
