v5 Live TV Not Working. Kodi Plugin OK.

I recently had to reinstall Windows 10 20H2 on my computer and decided to update to NextPVR v5. Was previously using the last v4 release and never had any problems.

After installing 5.1.0 (201216) I can scan in all TV channels and update the EPG etc. But when it comes to watching live TV through NextPVR, after selecting a station for the first time NextPVR just gives me a blank screen. If I try choosing the same or different channel, the channel list just gives me Not Responding and the whole NextPVR program closes with Not Responding error. Yet as a plugin through latest KODI 18.9 I can watch and record any TV channel without a problem.

Any idea on why only NextPVR client is not able to view live TV and just crashes when I do so. Yet KODI works fine?

Install the LAV32 bit decoder https://github.com/Nevcairiel/LAVFilters/releases and configure that in NextPVR settings. The 64 bit decoder will not work.

Ok. I'll give that a go in the morning and see how it goes.

Thanks. I installed the x86 LAV32 bit decoders and now everything loads fine in NextPVR client.
