Can I install Kodi and NextPVR (for testing) on a live WMC machine?

I currently have an HTPC running Win7 WMC and I don't want to mess up my current configuration. If I install Kodi and NextPVR on this system, will they affect my current setup?
I've searched and searched but can't find anything definitive. Has anyone done this and what were the effects?192.168.0.1 routerlogin 192.168.l.l

Installing Kodi and NextPVR should not affect the operation of WMC ... NextPVR and WMC will not be aware of each other and will not share tuners nicely ... It is recommeneded that you ensure that no recordings are scheduled for the same time in NextPVR and in WMC.
