Can't get NextPVR to install correctly

Hi,
I'm new to NextPVR and this forum.  I have been using windows 7 for a long time using WMC for recording and watching.  Since January 2020, been using EPG123 so to stay with WMC.  I recently bought a new Windows 10 computer and installed a quad Hauppauge card.  Have been struggling to find  an EPG for it.  When I came upon NextPVR I thought at last I had found it.  But, alas, I'm having problems getting it to work.  I stumbled upon a server download first.  Installed it and tried to follow the instructions in the video accompanying it, however when it got to the part where the tvguide was clicked, my guide had channels alright, but program info was weird in that every channel showed the same info. Upon logging into Schedules direct for each channel to fetch the lineup, I get a popup dlg stating "undefined", even though I picked the lineup from the list provided.  I don't know what I'm doing wrong.

Go to Settings->Guide If you see your lineups, go to Settings->Channels->Automap and because you say things are weird I would automap them to None. Then repeat Automap to your OTA lineup. If it doesn't work at the end of this send your logs as explained on the wiki.

OMG, didn't notice that the channels all mapped to the same channel in the lineup. Did the automap to none, changed to map by number and voila!. It all looks good now. Thanks for the help.

Installed latest version. Zappo... nothing works. Page comes up but nothing under SETTINGS (No version info, can't login. Log file states: {"stat":"Failed","code":8,"msg":"Invalid Session."}

If you press Ctrl-F5 in your browser, to force it to reload the page (rather than showing you a cached copy), does it then show settings?

(you should have created a new post for this, rather than just tacking it onto another post that sounded remotely the same)

I have an issue as well. I install NPVR from a local user account on w10 but I cannot see the green/red NPVR status Icon that is supposed to be in the tray. I have to switch to the admin account if I want to check that. Bit of a bother as other than myself no one is allowed access to the admin account or the admin password.

Also the 2 NPVR shortcuts or whatever you call them that are supposed to install in the start menu... get installed under the admin account start menu instead. Nothing in the local user account.

This issue is new in V5 as it installed and worked ok in v4 when using from a local user account.

You can always add a shortcut to NPVRTray.exe in the startup folder other user's account if you want to.
