I'm using the Docker amd64 version of NextPVR, but I suspect that this is not platform specific...
If I initiate a recording from the TV Guide (specifically - click on a program listing, then choose "Record Once"), it looks like NextPVR processes this internally as a request to record the specific station, time, and duration (but not tied to the program name). Most of the time this is not a big deal, but I've had a few cases where guide information has changed after I requested the recording, but before the recording happened. In other words, the program that I intended to record was no longer running in the that time slot - the station aired a different program. In these cases, NextPVR records the requested station at the specified time and duration anyway. A "Record Series" request doesn't have this problem - it seems to try to match the program name with the guide. Anyway, is there some way that "Record Once" requests can keep track of the original program name, and drop the recording if the guide data changes?
Thanks,
Doug
