Guide update only after NPVR server stop/start or reboot

Guide update only successful after stop/start of NPVR service. After the initial update , the following EPG updates go thru the processes (seems successful) but will not update the Guide. Logs attached including mylog of activities

12-02-21 16.00 stopped npvr service, deleted logs, reboot pc, loaded show status, start npvr client (local pc)
16.45 Checked EPG, guide populated to M/Day fri 19/02/21

13-02-21 16.15 Ran EPG update,Toggled thru all tuners except Winfast #1 Freq 226500 (watched status on local pc)
Checked log of device. It did do update. Sorry forgot to take note of inserted/update/skip
14-02-21 11.00 Checked device logs, o/n EPG update succesful.

15-02-21 10.50 Checked device logs. o/n update succesful. (guide populated M/day sat 20/02/21)

16-02-21 08.30 Checked device logs. o/n update succesful. (guide still only populated M/day sat 20/02/21)?

Ran EPG update, no tuners shown in use. EPG u/date i=9025 u=0 s=58

It doesn't looks the same problem at all, NextPVR is complaining about bad xml  but the xml syntax looks ok so sub will need to check it.

I think it's something to do with the logic that tries to fix up description/subtitles when the UK joins them together with "...". I've been trying with your xml, but haven't been able to make it happen yet.

No, it was the formatting of one of the descriptions it was trying to join with the ... mentioned above.

When I looked at the XML I saw a show that Radio 1 show ended in ... but it wasn't a split episode so I thought it might have been seeking too long.

re restarting server for epg update to populate guide.
It has happened again.
9/4/21 I  uninstalled v5, deleted all directories/files relating to v5.
Installed v5,setup 5 tuners, 1 tuner per transponder. All OK.
Checked EPG update results every day

I did manual epg update result 0/0/0. I stop/start server, another manual update
result 7950/0/46
17/4/21  0/0/0
did manual update 0/0/0 Basically i can only get 1 successful update after restart.
I also noticed that status window does not display that the devices are in use after this problem occurred.
