Can't get to localhost site

Something happened to EPG data, and wasn't updating. I've tried several things, including deleting cache and channels and rescanning channels and rerunning EPG update. All blank. Now I can't even get into localhost. Has the server gone down? Do I need to uninstall npvr and reinstall? Is anyone else having this issue?

The server you are talking about is your server, so you've probably screwed something up in config.xml or your database. I would start with removing config.xml and restarting the server and seeing if that fixes things. If not remove npvr.db3 and then restart the reserver.

If you tried any obsolete dll's from other posts reinstall

I expect this is the result of the pain of trying to get zap2xml working too save a few bucks that I warned you about.

Are you talking about v5? I can't find those files you're talking about on my system. I've searched my entire PC and those two files don't exist.

You didn't search in C:\Users\Public\NPVR-data or check the wiki for help.

Ok, I thought if I searched "This PC" it included drive c, but apparently not. I removed both files, but I still get the error:
This site can’t be reached
localhost refused to connect.
The only thing I did was delete the channels and rescan, and delete the cache files, and rerun epg update. Nothing else.
I did notice one thing, when I was trying to fix the epg data, it started a recording I was unaware of, because the folder is there, but the files are missing. Did I crash nvpr doing that?

Ok, reinstalled and had to resetup everything, took all night, but now it works. tks.
