Hi there

I am, and have been a happy user of VMC/DVBLINK for many years now, but after DVB Logic closed business and VMC hasn't been supported for some years now I am looking for a replacement. Lately I have also been using Kodi with DVBLINK as backend. This setup also works great. However my PC running DVBLINK doesn't live forever and as it is I can not reactivate my DVBLINK license on a another computer. So I have set my eyes on NextPvr. My TV provider is Boxer TV in Denmark. Terristial signal DVB-T2. My sat/ip tuner is a Octupus Net 4 tuner box from Digital Devices. I have downloaded and installed NexPvr and done a channel scan on the transponder list "Denmark / all regions" however no channels is found. I have also tried some of the other transponder lists where the "city" is close to where I live. No luck here either. I have used DVBLINK with DVB-T2 "current" and also DVB-C many years ago and never had any problem with scanning channels. I have also used DVB Viewer, also no problems here tuning channels. I can see that the transponder .ini file structure used by NextPvr for Danish Terrestial TV is a little bit different than DVB Viewer and DVBLINK. Maybe there is an issue there. I have attached the working transponder file from DVBLINK and DVB Viewer. I have also attached the log file from NexPvr. Any help is much appreciated.

If you use an ini files with frequencies you know should work, and look at the Octopus.NET device's web pages while NextPVR is scanning, can see it has locked a signal?

You could also try going to the Settings->About page of the NextPVR webapp, holding the Ctrl key, and clicking Verbose. This will enable verbose logging until NextPVR is restarted. Then scan, and repost the logs.

Can you also post a screenshot of your Settings->Devices screen.

Hi there
I have attached the files you mentioned.
I did a "Denmark / All regions" search. The Octopus NET is initiated but "No Signal" through the entire search.
The log files should contain the extended verbose log

There is no errors now (unlike yesterday's log), which is good, but it doesn't lock onto a signal.

Quote:2021-05-17 08:09:51.008 [DEBUG][32] About to scan: rtsp://192.168.1.47:554/?freq=482&msys=dvbt&bw=8&pids=0,16,17
....
2021-05-17 08:09:53.235 [DEBUG][47] FE: 1 Locked: 0 Level: 38 Quality: 10

Are all of Boxer's frequencies there DVB-T2?

It looks like I might need to change these rtsp urls slight for DVB-T2 (msys=dvbt2 etc).

Yes
Boxer has changed all frequencies to DVB-T2 about a year ago

Did your existing DVBLINK have log files that contain rtsp urls? If so, it might me some clues what it's looking for.
