I want to set up a recurring recording for the show Kung Fu on Fox.  If I set it up the show is not colored on the Guide.  If I set up a Record Once it is highlighted.  Other shows on this and other channels work fine.  If I go to recurring recordings it shows the recording.  In fact i ended up with about 6 entries there.  I deleted all except one. Did not see if it actually was recordings even if not highlighted, because I did not want to miss it.

Which guide? (there are many clients) If you mean NextPVR.exe there is an issue described in this thread https://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php?tid=62539 that if a recurring recording is created outside NextPVR.exe the items doesn't show red until you restart NextPVR.exe.
