My Fritzbox has 4 receivers which are all found by NextPVR.

My Problem is, that I can not record two channels at the same time, because my Fritzbox only allows one connection per IP Address at the same time.

On TVHeadend there is an option to assign different outgoing IP addresses for the handling of different receivers. The docker container has 4 outbound IP Addresses xxx.xxx.xxx.5 to xxx.xxx.xxx.8

So when addressing receiver A, NextPVR would have IP xxx.xxx.xxx.5, for receiver B it would use xxx.xxx.xxx.6 and so on.

Is this already possible, if not, were can I submit a change request.

There is no way to currently do that. I'll keep it in mind for the future though.

Hey sub,
any chance this could be implemented in the near future ? It would make NextPVR even better :-D

Are m3u files supported by your Fritzbox?  You could use those too.

Yes the station list of the fritzbox is a m3u file.
How would this solve the problem that the fritzbox only allows one connection per each IP and stops recording the first recording when a second one is started or a live channel is viewed ?

Four m3u files two connections each.

The problem is not on the NextPVR side. It recognises the 4 receivers of the fritzbox and allows 4 connections.
But as all the connections originate from the same IP, the fritzbox limits it to one and redirects all to the same of the four reveivers resulting in stopping the first recording as a seconde request comes in from the same IP.
Other PVR solutions solve this by using four different origin IPs when adressing the four different receivers of the fritz box.

Sorry, I couldn't really tell you went it'll be implemented at this stage.

It's a bit of an oddball one. You're the only report I've see of this, so I must admit it's not very high on my priority list. Have you tried asking the Fritzbox guys about it?

AVM will not do anything about it. I would even suspect that they limit it like this on purpose.
I do not know how often the fritzbox is used outside of germany, but here in Germany, many people with cable internet connection use it and it would be a great treat if you had the possibility to fix this.
Is it hard to implement ?

To be honest, I don't know. I'm not even sure how to go about replicating this in my environment.
