Watched show, hit stop to end watching.  Totally black screen, unresponsive.  Have to switch to Task Manager and end NextPVR, which shows as not responding.  Happened a handful of times.

This log is from a minute or 2 after the latest occurrence.

Are there any messages in the Windows Event Viewer when this happens?

Still does this at times.  I have to CTRL-ALT-DEL and end NextPVR.

Is it just a problem on in-progress recordings? This seems to be you show you trying to skip past the live point, which can be a troublesome area.

Just live? Not sure, I will have to keep track. I think not, but unsure.

We skip in every show we watch, over commercials. We don't skip to the end. I hit STOP when it's over, and instead of going back to the selection screen, I get the black screen. Today I scrolled up and saw a tiny blue swirling circle.

The next time it does it, I will note whether the show was live or not.

I am saying in this case you trying to skip past the recorded part of an in-progress recording rather then just letting it play or stopping and coming back to it later.

We do that all the time. Start watching a few minutes in, eventually catch-up with live. Been doing that for years without issue until this summer.

I am just pointing out what I see. I'm suggesting something might be amiss if a user tries to skip too far in-progress like you did a couple of times. I'm not saying it's wrong just trying to see if that is linked to the problems you are having.
