Check the URL you are using with other apps, that one is returning a 503 here. You can try using cont=1 which their website uses but that is now geo-locked here.

Thanks Martin. it is Geo locked but im using a VPN. Where do i append the "cont=1" and is there anything suspicious in the logs.

I thought the "cont=5101533" in the URL was the Channel address

You said the linke worked in other apps, best to look a the link in the other apps. Changing 5101533 to 1

Hi tried what you suggested and it was very "hit-and-miss"
it works on the browser if I go directly to https://www.raiplay.it/dirette/rai1.

That link looks like RAI 1 not RAI News which you were posting about.

I any case NextPVR doesn't typically work with browser links, since they ultimately get redirected to other URL for playback. With the VPN and transcoding for the browser there can be issues, but it does not sound like a NextPVR issue. There is nothing more I can do on this thread sorry.

the URLS in the browser are not the ones that i am using in NextPVR and you are right, its RAI 1 this time but its actually both of them that are giving issues.
Nevertheless, i guess theres a point where even if we find a fix, their job is to blockk out "intruders"

If i close this thread can i open a new thread asking the users if they can workout why it works in windows Myiptv but not nextpvr

As I said you need to provide a working URL that you use in MyIP not what you are using in a browser, no need for a new thread.

You need to make sure the VPN is working. From the command line running try

curl -L "https://mediapolis.rai.it/relinker/relinkerServlet.htm?cont=2606803" -o ciccio.ts

and see if the file is created ctrl-c will break.
