Help installing version 5

Help I can't install version 5 sucessfully. I did have version 4 working but couldn't work out how to retune so went for verision 5.

I have TBS 6280 dual tuner pci express tv card.

What happened when you tried?

You need to provide a description of what the actual problem is.

I can do a search and get the channels to come up and the EPG but when I try and watch a channel there is no picture or sound.

Are you trying to view them in the web app, or in the nextpvr.exe desktop app?

In the web app, it looks like you might have tried to turn on hardware acceleration, and I suspect this is causing issues (AMD devices can't do acceleration from a background service). Go to the Settings->Transcoder page, and set video encoder to 'CPU'.

I didn't know their was a web app but now I've tried both and neither work, even when I change the video encoder to CPU.

Post a new logs, showing a web app attempts, now that video encoder has been set back to CPU.

When you try to watch live tv, does a live tv buffer file get created in C:\Users\Public\Videos? Does it have anything in it?

In the logs it looks like the device is failing to lock onto a signal. (which would mean the file is created, but empty)

I deleted the files in there as they were probably from version 4

Two files appear when I try to watch a TV channel.
