double channels

have searched on forum about getting double channels in tv guide. i have tried suggestions from users but it still happening, it all started when i put updateepg.bat into the scripted folder. any idea's why?

I'm not sure how it could be related to an UpdateEPG.bat.

On the Settings->Devices screen, do you have multiple devices? Are you sure you didn't scan on a second device? (this will result in double channels if you don't accept the offer to copy channels from the existing source)

If you want to supply your npvr.db3, I could tell you more.
