The only similarity I can see between the two programs is that they both have -'s S- in the titles. Other Love Nature:{title} recordings without the 's S in them seem to have recorded properly as has Joanna Lumley's India

It's likely to just be a coincidence but maybe not.
Does the file get created on disk? If it was anything to do with the apostrophe, I'd expect the file would never get created. If it gets created, it'll be something else happening later.

Sub: Note that his message indicates that the 2 problem instances have the string "'s S" (no quotes, but the apostrophe, "s", space, "S") and that one with an "'s I" worked ok. So, if it is not coincidence, it's more than just an apostrophe thing.

They are both also on the same channel, so that could be significant also.

sub: from what I can see, the folders get created (without apostrophes and colons) but no files seem to get created. The error message is also pretty much immediate.

Additional program with the same symptoms on the same channel: Love Nature: Survival of the Species with Ben Fogle

Can you post a set of logs, and let me know what time one of these recordings happened, so I know where I'm looking?

Logs attached.
The most recent Joanna Lumley's Silk Road was on 16/8/2021 7:30:00 pm - 8:30:00 pm
There are a couple of others repeats that didn't record early in the AM but that's because it was off.

The next Ben Fogle one is on the 21st.

Could you zip and upload your three conf files?

/var/opt/nextpvr/adapter?-DVB-T-channels.conf

Zipped conf files attached. There did used to be a PCI card tuner but I'm using a dual-tuner USB one only now.

Unfortunately it doesn't look like the device-adapater0 log doesn't go back that far, so I can't actually see what happened at the time. You might need to try grabbing them immediately after the next Ben Fogle show.

I can see from the nrecord log that something happened, but the details would have been in the device-adapter log

Thanks I was looking in the old file I don't know if it matters but there in on on each the channels on the field marked TRANSPORT_ID.  Definitely send the logs right away, there aren't many generations of the device files.

It seems to be the POST after a manual EPG scan.
