ITV/BBC HD and EPG missing from scan and update

There isn't any obvious reason shown in your logs. Unfortunately your tuner doesn't seem to report it's signal status, so all the frequencies show as "locked=0, present=0, strength=0, quality=0". I'd hoped it'd give us real values, so we could tell if it was signal strength issues etc on those specific frequencies.

Unfortunately it's probably not worth digging into this too much given it's such an old version.

I think this suggestion https://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.ph...#pid559290 of creating a minimum ini file for the UK makes sense. Maybe another users has one for your region? Assuming v4 or v5 tuning files are the same.

Ultimately a cutdown .ini file with a single frequency does help with producing more focus log files. Once you've got scanning on a single frequency in place, setting HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\NPVR\ LogTSFlow=1 (DWORD) in the registry can also give us more detail logging (c:\temp\mon.txt), so we know what data is coming from the device. This would at least tell us if it's signal or NextPVR stream parsing bug. If the latter though (and there have certainly been a few of these types of bugs fixed since 3.9.2), upgrading is the only real avenue to fix it though.

OK I'll give it a go.

I'm not sure but I seem to remember some software with the videomate that had it's own sat TV, which could be used to test the card. I know it picked up some HD channels but can't remember which. I'll see if I can dig it up. Obviously if that can't pick them up either then likely its the videomate not Nextpvr, which I'm leaning towards, as it appears to get everything else just fine except for those channels and the EPG.

I'll post when I have something so that it can be recorded on the forum if there's a problem with the Videomate S350.

That card is DVB-S only, the BBC and ITV use DVB-S2 for their HD channels. Take a look at this KingOfSat page to see which FTA HD channels you can or can't receive.

I'd recommend upgrading to 4.2.5 either way, as there are several useful improvements / fixes. I went directly from 3.4.8 to 4.2.5 without problems.
